Background
The AD:VENTURE programme is a business support programme, that delivers a range of support to new and young business, and individuals interested in starting a business. The programme is co-ordinated by Leeds City Council (‘the Council’) and is delivered by a consortium of organisations (delivery partners), and part funded by Gainshare grant received from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (‘the Combined Authority’). Remaining funding is provided by a range of public and private organisations.
Under the Grant Agreement for the delivery of Gainshare IP1 High Growth Enterprise Programme, Leeds City Council is the recipient of the Grant. It is required to monitor and evaluate the delivery of the programme and grant allocation.
Data Controller and designations of parties
Leeds City Council is the Data Controller of the programme. It is responsible for management of the and delivery of the programme and distributing the funding to delivery partners. It will use Personal Data collected for the purpose of assessing the Grant Recipient’s compliance with their obligations under this Grant Agreement. The Council will share some information with the Combined Authority for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Organisations, otherwise known as delivery partners under the terms of the Agreement, and which are listed elsewhere in this statement, act on behalf of Leeds City Council as processors under individual Service Level Agreements with the Council.
Why do we collect your data?
Leeds City Council is required to collect personal data for the purpose of assessing eligibility onto the programme and for the assessment and monitoring to determine the level of assistance received, and for conducting monitoring and evaluation activities.
The information you provide to us under the AD:VENTURE Programme will be used to facilitate the services we provide to you or your business, and to assist us with record keeping, statistical and research purposes, statutory purposes and to facilitate ongoing communication.
Leeds City Council may use the information you provide to contact you in order to keep you informed of services and business support that may be of interest to you and your business. You will be asked to consent to receiving marketing information from us and our partners when submitting application. You will be able to withdraw your consent from receiving information at any time by contacting us on marketadventure@leeds.gov.uk
